Provenance

Built in 1911, in Steinway's golden era.

By 1911, Steinway & Sons had refined the modern scale design that players still prize today, the reason collectors call this period the golden era of the American upright. This instrument was built in that window, and it carries the voice that made the Steinway name the standard.

We found it south of Dallas, tired and worn from a century of use, and rebuilt it completely. What was once an old, forgotten piano now looks as sharp as the day it left the factory, and plays like new.

It is an antique with a modern instrument inside it.
